This May 10th and 11th, the collective Pego Viu invites you to a heartfelt and inspiring celebration in the town of Pego, marking ten years since the wildfire that sparked the creation of this grassroots movement dedicated to reforestation and land stewardship.
Ten years ago, a devastating fire swept through the local landscape — and from its ashes, Pego Viu was born. What began as a response to environmental crisis has since grown into a vibrant community of action, committed to restoring the land, protecting biodiversity, and engaging citizens in the future of their territory.
To honor this milestone, Pego Viu is hosting a weekend of shared experiences, open dialogue, and joyful gathering.
